Personality: She's a bitch...she is loyal to her job, to her friends, but pushed and pushed hard, she becomes that bitch that no one wants to deal with. She is and has been living with the fact that because of the position she has, she knows that people will think what they will and she does her job good enough to know that she didn't blow her way to the top, but refuses to let others at the sametime believes that's what she did no matter what.

Personal Quirks: She hates people who are phony, stab people in the back and jump to conclusions. Don't assume, that only proves in the end you've done made an ass out of yourself and the other person. If you got something to say, best say it right out to her. She hates people who would much rather talk behind others back. Not to mention, she hates clowns, blood and the opera.

History: Beth is the only child to Robert and Clara Cutler, raised as a proper girl. With manners, respect and with the great know how about how to fly a plane. She had a very interesting childhood.

Her father was a pilot in the US Air Force and her mother a school grade teacher. As much as her mother would have loved her daughter to stay on the ground, Beth always loved being up high in the air.

Her uncle owned his own flight school, so Beth would go on weekend flights with either her dad or her uncle and thus began the love of flying..

She made it through school and graduated with high honors, valedictorian of her class. Scholarship to any school she wanted to go, but took that opportunity and joined the Air Force. Wanting to be a pilot and wanting to be a pilot of her own space flight one day.

That was her next dream, to be a pilot and to join NASA. It took some time but she ended up either by luck or by pure determination....but she piloted her first flight of the Shuttle Discovery.

That was it, from that day on....she wanted to do anything that dealt with space flight and exploration. Having put her name out there for the higher ups to know she wanted to be a part of the "Colonization of Mars".

Of course her desire of wanting to be one of the first of only a selected 200 to be part of the Mars Colony. She in return ended up neglecting her family in the sense of never being home.

Her marriage to Jimmy Cutler ended on a pretty much mutual note, he wanted a wife who wouldn't leave on the first shuttle and she respected the fact that he didn't' stop her, but told her to go with her dream.

She loves her ex husband, but knows that right now either until she gets this out of her system or gets taken out of the space program, she was going to do this. What does bother her is, she feels she has failed her daughter. But hopes that when she comes back, her daughter doesn't hate her...plans on making plenty of contacts with her from Mars. Never wants to be out of contact...just...she has never truly allowed herself to stay grounded..

Now she is going to be living a new life on a new planet, in a new environment. Dome life, space suits and MRE's on a good day. Hell, someone has to do it...just incase one day Earth isn't able to do it anymore.
