Distinguishing Features:

Personality:
Very open about some things in her life. Friendly and often speaks without thinking. She keeps a lot though bottled up and doesn't speak about them to just anyone. Gaining her full trust isn't easy. Takes a lot to get her angry but once she does she is not one to be around.

Personal Quirks:
Always carries a deck of tarot cards with her. She possesses several decks. She smokes and likes her caffeine. She's not a morning person so if you are going to wake her up early, stand back, she will come up swinging.

History: Aisling grew up as an only child. Her mother had "the sight" as she called it. All the women in her mother's family have had it as far back as they can trace. "The sight" included things like seeing the future, past, ghosts, etc.  Aislin trained Aisling at an early age to be able to use her gift.

Aisling excelled at reading Tarot and at seeing  things that aren't always on the same plane of existence. She can use a crystal ball and often dreams of the future along with visions of the present and the past but she relies on the tarot deck to help decipher things. Aisling is able to see more things like ghosts and physic residues depending on how infected the area is with these.  To her it is perfectly natural but she learned not to discuss this with some people.  She made the mistake of telling some when she started school and the results were not pleasant.

The other children teased her or avoided her all together.  She was not welcome to play with them.  She kept to herself and to friends she had that others could not see.

Her father had a tendency to abuse the gifts her mother and her had to his advantage, betting on horses, teams, cards or whatever he could in order to “make” his fortune. Aisling often argued about doing this only to have him hit her for it until she agreed to do as asked.

Of course if she gave him the wrong information he would severely punish her so she made sure to always tell him the truth of what she saw.  When she was fifteen he decided to take her to Vegas to try and win money she’d had enough. She ran away from home. She lived on the streets making money by doing fortunes for the most part although that didn't always give her enough so she would do other things in order to survive.

Once she was eighteen she was able to get legitimate jobs such as witnessing and also her G.E.D.. She worked at several jobs while going to school part time and maintained a very high grade point. This allowed her to earn a grant to help pay for her books and other living expenses so she didn't have to work as often.
